    to be fair, in a big bunch all going fast, it's much easier to keep a fast pace.

    The thing that would kill me are those climbs. Sign of a good road cyclist is a good set or climbing legs.

    How about Dave Zabriski from last year? 27.6mph ave moving speed for 190 miles with a max of 102.2 :shock:

    The elevation data shows it pretty flat near the end of the ride, and the speed data shows over 70mph for half an hour or so. His Garmin is telling lies it seems!!

    The Garmin isn't lying, he just forgot to stop the timer when he got to the finish of the stage and the computer recorded the drive to the hotel on top of the team car.
    I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.
