WTD - Kids Road bike Advice

As it says really.

My son is 11 yrs, he wants to get into road riding / racing, thus I need some advice on what to look for.

He currently runs a 14" MTB framed Orange and it fits fine.

Any advice would be greatfully received

Although at 11, some 'kids' bikes may prove too small. I sold two of the Decathlon kids race bikes as my (then 12 year old) had outgrown his and my 9 year old wasn;t far off.

Currently looking myself for my youngest (now 11), and XS or S adult seem to fit ok.
