    There used to be quite a lot of riders around there, though the majority came through fom Edinburgh.

    Best bet to meet local riders, is to head up to the trails by the terminal on a nice saturday and just play around until a group shows up.

    Plenty of mountain bikers in Devilla Forest (12 miles from DB) and Loch Glow (8 miles). Last time I was up that way I met a group of instructors training mountain bikers in Devilla. I note that Dunfermline Cycling Club has an active MTB section.
