36spoke Wheel

Mrs Meanie's 'training wheels' have a 36 rear, but she's 55kg and the bike's 8kg so i'm thinking of respoking the rear. Options:
1) Remove every other spoke, build 3x with only 18 spokes - will it be strong enough?
2) Spanish Crow's Foot - where do you put the valve?
3) 3 Leading/3Trailing - lots of spoke lengths and you have to untension wheel to replace a broken spoke. Can I be bothered?
4) Just let her destroy the Ksyriums by commuting/training in the rain?
What would you do?

5) Let her train on heavy wheels, build up the extra strength and she'll fly on the good bike.
Seriously, spokes are about 6 grams each, just leave them alone. 36 spoke rims will likely be too light to run with fewer spokes, certainly not 18 no matter how light she is. All you'll do is spoil a good wheel.0 -

2 waste of time
3 pain in the butt
4 fair
5 buy her new wheels if she wants some."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

Buy weekend wheels, something like RS80s or American Aero 420s and let her abuse the krysiums!0
