Newport Shropshire Duathlon Sunday 2nd October
Newport running and cycling clubs are jointly holding the 3rd Newport Duathlon on Sunday 2nd October.
5km run, followed by 25km bike ride (two laps of a rolling circuit around Knighton, regularly used for local races) and 5km run to finish.
09:30 start from Knighton social club, ST20 0QJ, entry is £20 (non BTF members) to include post race food and a finishing prize. Link to entry form here http://www.newportrunningclub.co.uk/races/the_newport_duathlon-11/
This has been a successful event in both 2008 and 2009 (we had 2010 off!), its the first time we have opened the event up to all, entry is limited to 120 and filling up fast.
