minus points in TdF ?

There are two riders with minus points (-5 and -10) in the points classification. What are minus points given for ? I presume an infringement of some kind - yet the two concerned would hardly be bothered about that - they were never in the points competition ?

    Yeah, small infringements. Drafting cars too long, taking food at the wrong time, peeing in public etc. On twitter the excellent @inrng has been publishing the fines each day. He wrote an article about it for CN here: http://www.cyclingnews.com/blogs/inner- ... -de-france
