For the rear - you need a brand new Deore 10 speed or the SLX 663 10 speed.

Front mech it depends what version you have - there are many.

I think the new XTR 980 front shifter can be adjusted so they are 2 and 3 rings - for spacing issues they will work best with 10 speed rings, cranks and chain.

    Hope that helps.

My bike has Front Derailleur:Shimano SLX 3 speed, Rear Derailleur:Shimano Deore XT 10 speed ? So are you saying they the xtr m980 shifters will work with my current set up ? My bike is a standard trek remedy 2011 ....

Yes. But for optimal front shifting the front mech and chainset should be 10 speed as well. Though nine will 'work'.

there is nothing called 3 speed.

is the current set up 10spd? and the other kit is also 10spd and made by the same makers?

then yes it will all work.

As covered in the topic linked to above.
