Basic maintenance questions

Hi all,

I'm just wondering, how many times should you de-grease your chain a year?

Also, what should I be looking at for wear and tear? I just want a better understanding of monitoring parts on my bike.

I could search Google but I get so many different answers so best asking on a forum full of techies :wink:

    I have a tub of G101 ready for my chain. Use it probably every 1-2 weeks depending on the weather. I use a good dry lube atm and it isnt really getting too messy so i just apply some more. Once things get a little dirty i whip the chain off, In the G101 then rinse & lube. Takes about 10 mins
