I'm after some new Oakleys, a Google search brings up this American site as the 1st result but they look too cheap and also with free worldwide postage it all looks to sus to me. Has anyone ordered anything from them?

Jaysus, look at that case, that is as fake as a fake thing could ever be

I would keep an eye on:http://www.eyewearoutlet.co.uk in the hope of finding a bargain, I bought some bottlecaps from the above.

Or even just keep an eye on ebay, I picked up a multi lens set of half jackets in mint condition for £60.

Cyclestore also have some good prices quite often.

Agree re: cyclestore - got some jawbones last week for £150 - not bad for uk retail - they arrived a day later!

I find this site competitively priced (http://www.sunglasses-on-line.co.uk/oakley-sunglasses.html)

I bought a pair of Ray Bans from there so definitely legit. They also have a physical store in Hemel Hempstead.

Cheers guys, thought as much but was hoping it was genuine. How can they get away with calling themselves Oakley US and Official Oakley Sunglasses Online?

Thanks for the pointers, will save up a little more, recently lost my halfjackets and did not realise how nice they were till started wearing some old, cheap, ones I have.

Good tip Daniel B - I have looked at eyewear outlet before I lost my Oakleys and they had some amazing deals, once I lost then all the good stuff had gone. Just been back on and they have some 5's for £39, I bid on some secondhand ones on ebay and they went for nearly £50 plus postage. Know they are not proper cycling specs but may have to get some.

    Wow, they're not even close.

If you look closely they're not even Oakley's - they're Oakey.

Their Jawbones are about the best - but they still don't look right. The M frames are just laughable.
I'm left handed, if that matters.
  • I reckon those are fakes; always check if they give a registered business address, and then google that address to see if they correspond. Also, any company that has a hotmail email address instantly makes e suspicious.

OP - those are some of the worst fakes I've ever seen.

+1 for eyewear outlet. I got a fantastic pair of Radars from them a few months ago.

    have a look at

    http://polimil.co.uk/acatalog/SI_Eyewear.html

no fancy frame colours or tints but if you just want Oakley at good prices they're pretty hard to beat.
