Downloading YouTube videos - how?

Anyne got any reliable/free programs for the PC to dl YT vids?
My mother is in hospital and relatives of mine are posting videos
of her great grandcchildren (my great nephews and nieces) that
I'd like to show her to lift her spirits, but don't know how to , tbh.

Any suggestions greatly appreciated...

Keepvid.com website allows any number of downloads per day, just limited to one video at a time.

ant.com downloader is pretty good (put's a 'download' toolbar in your browser), although it saves the stream rather than the video directly, so you have to wait for the buffer to fill before it completes the save. Works on pretty much any site (except iplayer unfortunately)
