While checking my new Zesty 514 over for possible places of cable rub I came across this strange label on the bottom of the downtube.

Is there something the French do with their bikes that I am missing? :?

yeah, there was a case in France year or so ago where a guy tried to make his bike more aerodynamic so he tried ironing it, burnt the paint and himself. Long and the short of it was he complained to the manufacturer and the french cycle industry shat itself so looks like lappy are covering all thier bases.

That's fantastic! I nearly bought a zesty the first year they were over here purely on the strength there was a sticker on the top tube that said 'sortie' and had arrows pointing in all directions...

Stolen off of Howies, who have had similar comedic washing labels for ages.

I thought that, hopefully it is just the edge of the sticker.

About 10 years ago on the washing instructions for the Line Skis team clothing it simply said 'Ask your mum'. I liked that.
    Many happy trails!
