Hi
While I save for a MTB a friend said I could kindly use his old Trek, it's been sitting outside unused for ages so needed a total overhaul.
So yesterday I striped the bike so it could be cleaned and some new bits added where required. All has gone well apart from I striped the rear derailleur however I can't get the Guide and Tension pulley to go back in again and work!
Please see link to photo the 4 metal washers that go either side of the cogs, however one of them (bottom right) has an insert and not matter what combination I try what ever cog has that washer it stops the cog turning when you tighten up the inner plate.
Any ideas? I'm totally stuck!

should not be there remove it."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

lets have images of both sides of the cogs to see what has happened to them."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."
