new stem advice

so im pretty sure im going to go for a new FSA OS115 stem. just trying to decide on the correct length. my current bontrager is a 100mm when measure from the center bolt to the clamp bolt (came with the bike).
i do feel like im having to overstretch a little to hit the brakes properly. the question is should i go for a 90mm or an 80mm? would the difference be huge?
