Hi

I have an 09 kouta kharma - I wanna make sure my saddle is dead flat - how do I adjust the angle of the saddle ? - Lossening and tightening the back seat bolt doesn't seem to do anything ....other than loosen the saadle !

Hard to see the seatpost cradle arrangement, but expect there's a thumbwheel or spanner flats to adjust the front of the saddle cradle
Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..

Yup, there is a small "grun" screw with spanner flats under the front of the seat post
  • I have the same bike...

If you take the saddle off there is a screw at the front of the mount that can be adjusted. If your saddle is currently pointing upwards then screw it in a bit, and reverse if it's pointing down. It's a bit of trial and error but doesn't take too long.

Get the spirit level on it when you think it's right, because of the curve of the top tube, it can be misleading when you think it's dead straight.

I must be in dummy mode here.

I found the nut at the front of the saddle - I adjusted this but it didn't seem to make any difference - as soon as I tightend the allen key at the rear the nose raised up again ?

    Any ideas ?

Yeah, you have to adjust it quite a bit past where you want to be, as the clamp pulls it back when you re-tighten it.
