Looking for a route Reading and Hampton?(charity ride)

I am looking for a mountain bike route running between Reading and Hampton. I have been asked by a mate who has been asked by Thames Water who are doing a charity bike ride in October.
I will have a look on the internet to see if I can find a route, but thought I would ask you guys as I'm sure someone has done a ride between them or have ridden a route nearby.
Any help is greatly appreciated
