Online bike shops that provide interest free bike sales

Hi Guys, riding an old peugeot at the moment for my 14 mile ommute.

Buckled a wheel yesterday, and riding london to brighton in september, so i am lookig for a fairly cheap roady with interest free payments (majorly strapped for cash as im only young)

Looked at a specialized allez and a vitus Zanium but cant find places that will do these bikes with interest free payments..

This website is the only one i can find that will offer interest free -

Interest free is impossible. Someone has to pay the interest.

If the bike you want is the same price from one place and from another, but one offers 'interest free' and the other doesn't, then in fact the one offering it interest free is in effect selling the bike for less, and then factoring in a charge for the interest.

More likely, it's actually cheaper somewhere else, and the price difference is the interest.

May be worth looking at a zero introductory interest credit card - but then you have to be really disciplined about it, because while the bank may not charge you interest to start with, they're hoping you'll spend more and more and end up paying interest, plus of course they get their slice from the retailer.

Then you buy the cheaper one, ie no interest factored into the price

There are lots of proper bike shops that offer 0% finance, where about are you located? Wherever it may be there's bound to be some in your area.

Depending on where you live, Leisure lakes might be worth considering. They do interest free deals ranging from 6months to 18 months depending on the ticket price of the bike you buy.

They are Specialized stockists and offer the Allez in varying specifications starting at £500 and going up to £1000

On that basis you would qualify for between 6 and 12 months interest free. Also you will be able to test ride the bikes before making a decision.

Don't forget that August is also the time when most bike retailers start selling off their 2011 stock at discount prices to make way for the 2012 models. You could get a much higher spec model for a good price and still benefit from the interest free.
