wheel build.
im trying to find out what length spokes i need foe my wheel build. does anyone know if the on at prowheel builder is accurate. they have my parts listed, dt rr465 brims 105 (5700) hubs. just that the dt swiss one gives a different answer, although i may used the wrong measurements.

How much out are the two lengths? A mm or so doesn't make much differentMake mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..0

thanks monty. ive worked it out from the shimano tech doc. some use locknut to flange while others use centre/flange. ive tried about 7 different calcs now and they all come up within 1mm, probably some are rounded. the only other thing how accurate are the erd specs apparently 599mm. one say hubs specs are good but measure the rim. given they are dt swiss is it ok to use 599. 1mm rim difference only makes 0.5mm spoke difference anyway.
i might even go old school and tie them, even if only to hold in place if one breaks. would have gone 28 front 36 rear but shimano dont do 28h 105's and i wanted matching hubs.
im getting all excited now, cant wait to get the dt comps with brass nipples.
is it worth getting slightly thinner revolutions for the rear nds to ven some tension?0 -
Wouldn't recommend DT Revs for first-time build as they are quite stretchy and difficult to avoid spoke wind-up.Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..0
