Cornish route suggestions please.

As per title - I'm down in Cornwall for a day or two shortly and will be based in the St Columb area. Can anyone suggest any suitable off-road xc type routes? The recently published MBUK trail centre guide didn't list any trail centres in the county which would be easy for a visitor to navigate without local knowledge. I quite fancy a bit of coastal (non foot)path...

Try Idless Woods near Truro and also check out some of this local knowledge. However, not much coastal stuff (except Portreath) as virtually all coastal footpaths.
