So long story short, i'm coming back to visit my parents in Cambridge on the 3rd of August, and after having checked around with about 10 different bike shops in the region of Cambridge, I can't find a single one that hires anything decent. I'm looking to do a 50 miler or so while back so that I can at least not get too fat in my week back, but without a bike it's hard.
Does anyone from the Cambridge area have time to ride between the 3rd and 9th of August, and has a spare bike I could use on that ride? It would help alot, especially as I have never ridden in outside of Cambs, and know no good routes.
