I'm after the best quality fork I can get for as little as possible. £300 is my absolute maximum.
Just ride.

I think Revs are a bit longer travel than the OP is looking for.
I just picked up a pair of 2010 Reba Teams, with BlackBox technology no less, in the Merlin sale section, for a bargain £269. Sweet.....

2010 Reba Team from Merlin, a tad under £270 with vip discount. Got a set 2 weeks ago and they're fantastic.

Team has blackbox motion control, this stays more composed over multiple hits.

Dont know if the forks on on-one come with a Shock Pump - the ones from Merlin do.

The forks on on-one also come with a pushloc which is a lever on the handle bars to lock them out. On the face of it that sounds nice but its extra clutter on the bars, an extra cable, something extra to go wrong and more importantly only allows on/off - the Merlin ones have a lever on the crown which makes them fully adjustable if you dont want them all the way on or all the way off.

I had been looking specifically for some without poploc for these reasons and was overjoyed to find them on Merlin.

The Black box is meant to be much better.

If you really want poploc then go for on-one but otherwise I think the Merlin pair are worth the few pennies more that they cost.
