Preload adjuster on Rockshox Dart 3

Since changing the spring in my still bad but infinitely better forks, the new spring is so firm, I won't be needing the preload adjuster anymore and since it's made of cheese (which made it a job and a half to screw back on) I think I'd prefer to get some kind of alloy stop to go in the top of my fork tube instead of having the preload adjuster there.

Does anyone know whether this kind of thing is readily available or would I have to get my engineering buddies to fabricate one for me?
