Reckon Gary Imlach will run away with this one as he knows what he's saying but feel free to include anything Phil or the others get wrong

Imlachisms

"Norman Stanley Juan Antonio Fletcha"

Cav V Greipel " Like an Audi versus and Eddie Stobart lorry"

"Collecting KOM points like a compulsive shopper"

I should do these daily really when they are fresh in my mind.

I've been actually annoyed that Phil and Paul have been off form so far and I dont think they;ve come up with any classic lines. Only one actually was when Phil said "and there wont be any more attacks now - there's another attack!" It has become a tour tradition to note the best PhilandPaulism. This year ive not been impressed.

Having said that ^ it seemed that Voeckler took his suitcase of courage up to Luz-Ardiden!

Boardman's stage finish preview yesterday included some bit of cheese about fireworks, followed by "Who writes these lines?". I reckon that was a wee reference to the corny Halford's ads which haave been so well received by internet forum people.

I thought Voight 'trying to rip his bike in half' was worth a mention from yesterday.
I know some would have you believe that carbon is the most fragile material on the planet but I find it hard to believe a pro with even massive power figures would seriouly think they could rip thir bike in half!

Sherwin "when a bike rider goes down the collerbone is one of the first to pop either that or the small bone in the hand . . the scapula"

Boonen shown riding alongside his team car.

Harmon - "So Sean, is this a stage for Boonen? Might he be the man today?"

Boonen then slows, stops and gets in the car, his Tour finished.

I quite liked the "rhetorical tweet" quote. I know it was in relation to Geraint Thomas, but it got me imagining French birds practising their powers of persuasion, in a way that only Gallic birds would.
