Bontrager Rhythm Comp Wheels, going tubeless

Hi,

I have a 2009 Gary Fisher Roscoe which comes with Bontrager Rhythm Comp wheels. They are TLR & OSB. They have a blue rim tape. I was going to get the Bontrager rim strip which is asymmetrical. However when I look at the rim without the tape the spokes are offset but the rim internally looks symmetrical, is this right for the 2009 wheels? Will the asymmetrical rim tape work?
