So I log on to the Condor site to lust after the Leggero which is out of my budget. See that they have the Diamante (similar to the Leggero but with ISP) and it is on sale. Heart rules wallet, n+1, a small bonus at work and a good chat with one of the guys in Condor and voila:
Frame: Condor Diamante

Stem: Deda Zero 100 Servizio Corse
Handlebars: Deda Zero 100

Wow. Probably my favorite bike on here. Does it fit well? seems like the Seat post has been cut a bit short in comparison to the frame? ..think i just dribbled a bit looking at it!0
-
Thanks Elliot - yeah, it fits great. I think it must be the angle of the bike that I've put it at that makes it seem a little bit short. I've also got 30mm of spacers in which I don't need, I'll drop the stem at some stage.http://www.georgesfoundation.org

Lovely, but I'd be tempted by a white saddle0

or black tape.. Decisions decisions!0

that may just be the nicest looking bike i have ever seen.0

Thanks guys - I really appreciate the comments - this is a "dream" bike for me and I'm really loving it. Had been a "little" worried about the purple when I saw it just as a frame, but for me, as a bike it just works.
Totally agree with the white saddle point - I think that will be an upgrade in time (it would match the horizontal white stripes on the seatpost). I went for white tape and black bars and white stem and black hoods. I did look at getting white bars, black tape and white hoods and maybe I'll experiment with that in the future.
It has been pointed out to me that my original picture does not quite meet OCP standards and I will rectify this at the weekend!http://www.georgesfoundation.org

I really hope you enjoy riding the bike for the rest of the 100 top climbs. Are you the guy on the blog with the white Condor? If so, what was wrong with that bike? That looked really nice actually...
For me personally, the frame (and it's not your fault, it's Deda's fault) is a train smash of dissonant curves. There is not one junction that is pleasing to the eye, and the saddle to bar drop doesn't work, they put you on a very big frame it seems. That or your back is none too flexible.
But all that doesn't matter if your riding it for your cause. Thanks for sharing those 2 sites. I was really really touched, didn't expect to be as I sat at work eating my lunch.
The jerseys and the pictures are really touching. The causes under the Projects menu make me wonder what the hell I'm riding for...When a cyclist has a disagreement with a car; it's not who's right, it's who's left.0 -
That is something special0

@fransjacques - yeah, I'm the guy on the white condor - that is a squadra and I plan to ride it for the rest of the climbs actually - finish what I've started on really. I'm just an ordinary rider, riding an ordinary bike up these incredible hills. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the Squadra and that will be my day to day and race bike - this is my treat.
I have fairly short legs and a long trunk - the bike is a 55 and the stem is a 120
The set up is the same as my Squadra (and the geom is the same too), the carbonzone wheels will probably go on the Diamante:

That white bike is hot. Saddle doesn[t fit but the black bar/stem/seatpost/deep wheels look great. Is it much heavier than the violet bike? When a cyclist has a disagreement with a car; it's not who's right, it's who's left.0

Just over a kg heavier and noted about black seat - the silver/red one was only meant to be temporary and never got round to replacing it. Maybe I'll get the white one for my diamante and swap the black one over.
To be honest, I'm sure I wouldn't notice the difference in weight and I will continue riding and loving the bike, but I LOVE my purple Diamante - I think it is the bees knees.
Here's the diamante with the carbon clinchers - still haven't got the cranks right according to the OCP post - but white background, big chainring and wheel logos should be better!

As a rule I do not like Condor bikes, but this one is a cracker!
Love the colour as well, not seen another bike that looks like it.
Congratulations!0 -
That looks fantastic with the deep sections.
I know everyone has different tastes but I think I would go with black bar tape and saddle.
Lovely bike, congrats...Trying Is The First Step Towards Failure

 Its a compact. I'm sure I asked for a standard, but I've just checked the order form and its down as a compact. I think I will probably go standard at some stage - that's why I have a 12-27 on the back - I'd ride an 11-25 with a compact... :oops:http://www.georgesfoundation.org

I would honestly say that is the nicest looking bike I have seen, and not something you see every day. I hope you enjoy riding it as much as I enjoy looking at it!0

Thank you everyone
10.4mile TT today - took 30 seconds off my best time (despite not being on great form) - got balked by a car too, reckon it would've been more had I not been! Like to think it is all down to the bike - twas a windy day today, so wouldn't be surprised!http://www.georgesfoundation.org

Wondered if that was you. We've not met, but saw your bike whilst marshalling the RP TT and wondered if it was the same bike...there can't be too many of those around. Good time too - well done!0
-
I also saw the bike propped up at the finish on Sunday, wondered if it was the one I'd seen here. I wore my skinsuit for the first time and managed to go 2 whole seconds quicker than last time - marginal gains!0
