U-turn forks compatability

hi all,
I'm trying to get cheap forks to upgrade my cube attention. The frames only good for 100mm of travel.
As I'm skint, I'm using classifieds and auction sites and was wondering if U-turn rockshox are compatible i.e. does the U-turn function adjust the length of the whole fork or just the internal travel available.
Any help would be good, thanks
