Has anybody got any views on this bike I am looking at the ali version seems excellent spec for the money. I can't seem to find any reviews. Would it be suitable for a first road bike ?[/quote]

    Judging by Merlins MTB bikes, it won't be a turkey. £749 for a 105 equipped bike with Fulcrum 7's - brilliant value, so long as they have your size left. 8)
