Finchley to Ealing

Need to go from finchley to ealing tomorrow evening, anyone got a good route that doesnt take me along the north circular?

Has to be on road, none of this gravel path, canal route stuff.

You can stick south of the North Circular all the way and have a pleasant ride of about 10 miles: roughly Finchley > Hampstead > Queens Park > Wormwood Scrubs > Ealing

interesting, i currently have:
hendon, brent reservoir, wembley, hanger lane
which is abour 9.4miles

My first thought was to go the hendon, brent reservoir, wembley, hanger lane route. I've just had a look at a map and confirmed that to be the best way IMHO

cheers, confirmed what i thought although the other way does look good i have an appointment i would like to keep so i'll go over the top so to speak!
