Final bolt on headset, how tight?

Can anyone tell me to what NM should I tighten the bolt to clamp the headset down?

Its a Hope headset with alloy bolt, lost the instructions and searched hopes website but can't find the info.

well it is only as tight as needed to remove the play in the headset. then you tighten the stem bolts.

but it's a hope headset so it's 'special' and doesn't use a star fangled nut.

yeah too tight and no steering, but do the tension by hand

make sure that the expansion nut is really tight in the steerer tube ( grease it up now ) otherwise the headset will magically come loose all the time
