Bearing grease?

Looking for some bearing grease but a certain sort. In a couple of hubs of mine they have this green sticky type which is quite thick. Makes a lovely smooth running bearing.
I have a pot of Wurth grease but this seems a little 'thin'
Unless i'm being stupid and can't see it where can I get it or what am I looking for?
Cheers,
Rob.

sounds like shimano hubs.
try some "finish line" grease."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

Yes, one is a Shimano hub, the other is off a Boardman wheel. No brand.
I'll have a look at the Finish line stuff.

opps I think I meant Motorex but TBH most cycle greases do the job well."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

Phil Woods makes green grease and is often found in bearings. Another good bearing grease is Rock and Roll Super Web Grease. These are both sold to cyclists so are probably more expensive than they need to be ;-)0

Halfords red stuff is excellent for bearings, nice and thick/sticky stays clean and lubes well, has teflon in itMarin Mount Vision 2005. Fox RL100/RP3. Hope Pro 2/Mavic XC717/DT rev. Cinders 2.1, XTR, Lots of bling
Cervelo S3 2011. Mavic Cosmic Carbonne SLE. RED. Q-rings, lots of bling and very light!0 -
Just get some general waterproof grease like Morris K99, nice and thick for easy bearing placement/retention. Absolutely no point in paying over the odds for boutique 'cycle' greases.
General greases are in the NLGI Consistency range of 2 (and sometimes 1), smaller number being thinner. A waterproof grease like K99 is NLGI Consistency 3 (usefully thicker)."Coming through..."0 -
Thanks all.
I'll have a look at the K99 stuff. Cheers.0
