I brought a bottle of Finish Line Dry Teflon Lube last year and it was great but I ran out so got anither bottle recently of exactly the same stuff. I have been using the new bottle for a while but the lube itself is coming out like creamy and white whereas the previous bottle was completely clear. The two lubes are identical but the creamy lube seems to attract loads of dirt and isn't as effective. Have they changed the lube in some way recenty or do I have a dodgy bottle?

Cheers.

PS. I am shaking it well :p

I thought they all looked 'milky' when shaken. Certainly shouldn't be clear.

Funnily enough, I spotted exactly the same thing. I still have a dribble in the last bottle and it is defo clear whereas the new one is milky. I haven't been able to work out which is best, too busy suffering for the cause :)

My last bottle was also clear. I work with a suspension of PTFE (Fluon), for a completely different use, which I assume is in the Finish Line product, and it does settle out fairly fast. It is also a nightmare to resuspend. It's possible that the old bottle had sat too long and the teflon had settled at the bottom, leaving the clear liquid. In the new bottle it is still fully suspended, so milky looking? I wish I'd kept the empty bottle now to cut open and look for the teflon, I can be a bit sad like that.

They changed the formula recently by adding teflon.

Ah right, must be a new recipe. I think I preferred the old stuff..
