Just purchased my first roadi :)

Hello fellow road enthusiasts!

After years of searching and wanting a road bike I have finally made the big purchase

Just ordered a Focus Cayo 105 STD from Wiggle (full carbon)

Been watching the tour everyday on ITV4 and picked up the code TOUR20 from there which got the price of the bike down to £880 which I think is an absolute bargain.

Hoping to get the bike next week and get out at the weekend all going well

Very excited at the moment, can't wait to get to get lycra'd up and doing some serious speed haha.

That really looks the business and it's a fantastic price. Maybe I can convince the other half to get me one for my birthday. As they say, ride it like you stole it!

Fantastic value the Cayo, don't forget it doesn't get dark til 10pm!

I'm in exactly the same boat; Watching TDF on ITV4 and have narrowed a purchase down to the Cayo 105. Just deliberating on what size to get. If you don't mind me asking, what is your height/inside leg size and what size did you go for? I'm 5' 9" with a 33" inside leg so think I will go for the medium unless anybody say's differently!

Try riding in the dark it's so quiet and much more fun I came home from work last week at one in the morning it was still warm and no one was on the road it was brilliant. Obviously you need lights for safety and don't dress like a ninja.

What he said. The sword will keep bumping into your legs, it's really annoying.

Im 6 feet tall and my inside leg is 34" - I've gone for the large which is a 46.

I was unsure on which size to get as well as Wiggle's sizing charts suggested I go for a 48. A friend recommended getting a 46 and I also went into my local Evans and sat on a few bikes pretending I was interested in buying one

I think the large would be ideal for you personally but I would advise getting yourself into a shop and sitting on some bikes.

...... Yea this is gonna be a long week, I just hope I get it in time for next weekend as I've arranged a ride with some friends.

Just lycra shopping at the moment

Try being 6'3"! First it took me forever to find a 59cm framed bike that was half decent and the process of trying to find some shorts that fit is even harder. I have a pair of leggins (I know, I know) that are Large and fit perfectly, but in shorts neither Large or XL come close to fitting! It's crazy.

matt j , ordered my cayo on a saturday and it turned up on the tuesday !! pretty quick turn around .
