Hi

I have a Specialized crosstrail sport disc. I want to put some better offroad tyres on it.

The tyres on now are 700x45c

The rims are called alexrims HRD double wall 622x17 6061-t6 29.

I have read elsewhere that I can fit up to 29x2.1 any thoughts?

    700c and 29 are the same wheel diameter.

    yeah I know.

    Its just the width that I need to know about. what is the biggest width of tyre I can put on.

    it depends on the frame more often than the rim.

    they would fit the rim but are on the large size for a 17mm rim (most 700c X 17mm max out with a 1,8" tyre) but if they would fit between the stays or the fork is another matter.
