Castelli sizing

After some advice on Castelli sizing.My normal size is a large (40 inch chest,30 waist)but have heard that castelli items come up smaller.Looking at buying some bib shorts and a jersey, do i need to go up a size to xl or stay with the large?.Any help would be spot on.Cheers Dave

I would guess it's different for everyone, but I find I am a medium (size 3) jersey in all makes and Castelli is no different, I do like my gear to be snug mind you and I would say their gear does come up snug.
I find their warmers are always long and I'm quite tall.

I am 6ft 32in waist and large is fine in bib shorts, but in the Race Jersey had to go to XXL

Go up 2 sizes from normal UK clothing eg Endura. I wear L endura club shorts, and XXL castelli which are snuggy snug!

Hello Dave, I think you will probably be a large in the top and a medium in the shorts. I am 5'10", 38-40" chest and 30-32" waist. I am a large in the Castelli T-Team shirt and large in the Free Aero bibs. However, the shoulder straps on the shorts are slightly loose for my perfect world so may be too loose for you. The shorts themselves fit great though (and are simply fantastic btw).

Hard to tell for def though as our bits are all slightly different.
