hi all i need a new chain for the road bike is a 9 speed whats the best out there for me to buy :?: thanks jono

    The "best" is a bit of a subjective term dependent on a number of factors including intended usage but I use and rate the KMC X9L. Less than £20, great quality and comes with a masterlink. If you are using your bike just for commuting or on a tighter budget then the KMC X9 is a good option (only £10 at Ribble).

    I generally opt for the KMC X-series with the gold ti-nitride plating - noticeably smoother and the plating means they don't corrode as quickly.
    Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..

    or you could do what i did, and use it as an excuse to buy a new bike :wink:

    if the wife let me a new frame wood be in the post to my house but i am upgrading to Shimano Ultegra because im bored of biking to work so what to start racing it
