Another centre lock to 6 bolt disc brake help request

Hi there, I have shimano centrelock wheel hubs with Shimano PM 160 disc brakes wacked on them, I want to put my Mavic Crossride wheels onto the fork instead of the shimano ones. Now I will need to buy new rotors for the swap as the crossride is 6 bolt. However do I need to find a rotor compatible with the shimano hydro calipers? Or can I literally just swap the wheels, put any new 160 rotors on the 6 bolt mounting and have a jolly ride?

Thanks for any replies, i'm not the most technologically advanced soul
Very funny Scotty, now beam me down my clothes.

any 6 bolts the right diameter will do.

  • A disk is a disk really.

A few combo's dont work (avids and hope floating rotors springs to mind) but 160mm is 160mm.

Some have more material, some have less, some look pretty....

    Thanks that's what I was hoping :)

One more quick thing, assuming I want 180/160 setup, I just need to find myself a 180 PM adapter for the front caliper and Bobs your uncle Charlies your aunt?

  • so long as you buy a 180mm disk too you will be good togo
