Great pub just across the road, enjoy a pint whilst watching fellow nutters jump, ski and bath-tub into the river :-)

Looks like a hell of a giggle - but damn, Aviemore is a looooooooong way from here, unfortunately (for me, not you, I'm sure you'd get annoyed if i was there all the time)

I'd buy you a dram. Pints aren't my thing!
I really wish it wasn't so far though, it is in such an astonishingly beautiful place.

So is Betws-y-Coed and they have a river :D
What if your dreams and fears existed in the same place? What if to get to heaven, you had to brave hell? What if everything you've ever wanted cost you everything you've ever achieved? Would you still go there?

So maybe there's room for non-Highland based nutters to have a similar event?

The trouble round here, and the rason my lake-jumping career was astonishingly short-lived and dangerous, is that most of the lakes have razor charp slate or flint in them, sometimes hiding just under the water

just like surfing in tenerife..i wondered why all the guys were sat on the beach when there was really nice 8ish foot waves......i found out about 5 mins later when i came off and got dragged along the razor sharp lava spewed rock on the sea bed :(
