Absolutely love the graphics. Very, very stylish.
  • Very nice!
I just took delivery of a Rose PRO SL 3000 (the aluminium one) at the end of June and am loving it, but the wait was excruciating.....
How does the carbon version ride?

Oh, and by the way, according to the website the weight of yours is 6.95kg :)

What handlebars are they? I'd like some with a shallow drop and they look great.

Thanks for the comments, the bars are ritchey carbon wcs logic 2's

I've not ridden it yet, got it late in the day and then am at work on nights, waiting for the bike fit.

The wait was def painful, the dhl tracking still tells me its in Germany so I wasn't expecting it for a few days yet.

Mine might be lighter as I upgraded a few parts for better lighter ones then standard

Send it back immediately, your bottle cages don't match!

hope your light, read somewhere the slk seatpost has 70kg weight limit.can't beat a bit of german, nice bike
  • The DT wheels look like quality bits of kit - well suited to the UK's roads. Break a spoke and you will not have to send off to France for a replacement, like with other wheels/brands.

    Bit of an update really,

Bike still riding amazingly. Smooth, no rattles, just tightened the gear and break cables after they settled in. Still need to match the bottle cages, lol. I still think it looks spiffy next to some better known rivals. Am used to the SRAM gears now too. Can change gear rapidly without a problem. Had chain drop a few times but got a gizmo to sort that.

Not made any upgrades, can't really afford to right now.

Only one niggle, for a giant like me the saddle is thin, might end up buying a larger one. However my clothing/kit wish list comes first.

The mrs wants a bike now :-)

  • Really nice looking bike - I think the unmatched cages look funky tbh.
  • Very nice bike. Going to order myself one of these in black http://www.rosebikes.co.uk/article/rose-pro-dx-cross-2000-4636/aid:532620 in the next week or so, says 3 weeks delivery, not sure if that means to german adresses though?

    Nice, a cross rose.

I reckon I only had to wait a long time as it was peak season when I ordered. Hope your bike turns out well.

    Good luck and enjoy
