    I have 4

helmet for guests, sweaty commute helmet, helmet to match my charity kit, helmet to match my race kit.

Helmets are n+1 too - I need a TT helmet for when I build my TT bike!

I find my Propero to be the best at the moment too, but still feel it's a tad too wide for my bonce. Thinking of trying a Catlike next....

When I was buying helmets I was told that you either have a specialised shaped head (wider) or a giro head (thin). I certainly found this to be the case - Giro ones can be as tight as anything front and back, even leaving a dent in my forehead, but there's still space to slide my hands in up by my ears. I clearly have a specialized head.

So on the basis that your Propero is too wide, I'd recommend trying a Giro one.

Interesting! A shop visit required me thinks. Ta!

    Two for me.

They stay with each bike. Needed the second one as the commute bike (and helmet) doesn't always make it home on a Friday night.

Just one smelly Giro here - been looking for a non-mushroomy posh lid for ages. Planning a trip to S Yorks to try Uvex and Las lids - both lighter than a lot of the posher helmets and a fair bit cheaper too!

Super lightness is not something that should be particularly celebrated when talking about helmets.

    I have 4 lids:

    1 for road,
    1 for XC,
    1 for Street/DJ
1 for Downhill and mucking about.

However on the road I don't bother wearing one unless I have to (for events and club runs), but I don't want to start that argument here.

I have an older Giro for commuting and a nice Shiney Giro Prolight for Sunday Best. Also have 'Normal' Shimano shoes for training rides / commuting and nice shiney Specialised S-Works for Sundays too.

I spent an hour cleaning my Sunday stuff with baby wipes in the lounge the other day much to the wife's joy. :D

+1 for the Spesh Propero - seems to fit me well... better than the two Met (c2001 and c2003) I have, though they've gone manky so I rarely use them now...
