I used my Forerunner 305 today after finally being bothered in learning how to use the navigation feature.

If anyone is looking for navigation features, this may not be an all singing, all dancing Edge but its the best ive used since mucking about with apps and the like.

Although its a simple line to follow you are presented with a representation of the road, ie, you approach a cross road all you see is the road youve travelled and the road you need.

Ive solved the mounting issue as it has a specific one ive used previously, its battery last much longer than the Iphone battery ive been running down and it still keeps my stats etc.

As the map is generated from Bikehike/mapmyrun etc i can select the roads i want such as tiny country lanes which are harder to do on a phone sat nav meaning ive seen loads more today than previous rides.

The one issue i had was where the route crosses over itself. Not an issue when i knew the road but took a few moments of thinking when i was further from home.

Anyway i iwsh id worked it out sooner!

I'ts all I use my 305 for at the moment as I'm not running while the weather is decent. Works well as you say!
