Hello,
I won a grant to visit many US frame builders a couple of months ago.
I've just finished uploading everything to my blog - please take a look if you have any interest in frame building:

I'm moving into a workshop at 98 Webber St London SE1 with Ryan of Oak Cycles, but it will be a while before I'm set up properly.

Ah i remember you posting a wee while ago, so much so that I actually went and counted the number of tubes on my alu bike.....and sure enough there are nine. Best of luck young man.The dissenter is every human being at those moments of his life when he resigns

Is number 9 the BB shell or the rear brake bridge??
I make it 10 if you count both.0 -

mm, my bike has 11 tubes (if you ingnore brackett/bridges etc if your bike only has 9 I fear it is broken.
Top Tube, Head Tube, Down Tube, Seat Tube, 2 x seat stays, 2 x chainstays, 2 x fork tubes, fork steerer.fay ce que voudres0 -
I wasn't counting the forks! I'm up to 13 now!0
