Now then, now then, whats all this shouting? We'll have no trouble here.

A morning of making and breaking in work today. Followed by lunch at the noodle bar in town as part of 'team building'.

Tonight may feature a friends house, pizza and some gaming. It will certainly feature prepping the paintball kit for tomorrow.

Thought of the Day. Fox Digit gloves - largley made of 'win'.

    Message ends.

    chumpies,
very deep sleep again last night as the body is recovering from actual physical activity.
Spent most of last night laughing at the wife who cant move after her weekend of riding horses in the mountains.
May get out for a ride tonight but not prepped the bike yet, so need to do that first, which may delay things somewhat?
Other than that not much going on, today or the forseable future!

Lots of paperwork this morning and a drama call. Followed by some 'proper' work this pm.

Might even bunk off for a walk this afternoon :D

today's not too bad, lots of work but nothing pressing.

So very tired, haven't had a proper night's sleep since last Wednesday, and unfortunately not for any good reasons. yay for insomnia. :(

Today will bring work, and then out for dinner tonight... not ideal with the diet, but will just have to choose wisely.

No bacon for me today, attempting to start eating healthier in an effort to lose the beer gut.

    Morning von crudd family

enjoyable ride yesterday over t'malverns although it did expose my lowered general fitness at the moment. No fall offs although I did list lazily into a bramble bush. Perfectly understandable in spds but on flats it's far less excusable.

Today will be spent working and putting the ht back together for commuting purposes, although expecting another hot day I've ditched the suit for a polo and shorts and so far the promised heat is conspicuous by it's absence.

Ah well will soon be Starbucks o clock

D'ya hear there....this is the Gizmo speaking.

Tuesday is going to be full of wife's family visiting for kids sports day.

Starting today I need to get on with plastering the bedroom and then this afternoon welcoming said in-laws into the house with bacons and tea about 12ish.

Afternoon will be spent watching kids run around a field finishing off with me having to defend my title in the Dad's race.

Evening probably a film or 2 depending when in-laws disappear

    That is all....carry on

    Morning,

My work is so mind numbingly quiet at the minute that it's making me extremely lazy - a day of trying to look busy ahead me'thinks.

Decided to do some hill reps last night in an effort to improve my pathetic climbing abilities - prob wont do that again! Did see a deer fairly close up though which was pretty cool...

Picking the wife up from the dentist tonight so no riding. She is having some wisdom teeth work done and is concerned as this is the first time she will have taken an injection. She's had a few fillings before but never with an injection (!), I would have an injection for a scale & polish if they would let me!

    Mornin homo's!

The boss is off today, so it should be relatively quiet, but I still have plenty to be getting on with, just at a slower pace.

Been sleeping really well recently (sorry foxc_uk) and my eczema round my eyes is clearing up (touches wood and lucky rabbits foot) so all in all, I'm in a good mood today.

    In a bit, like!

I could really start to dislike you, y'know.
Well done on the eczema though, have skin issues myself so can understand what a nightmare it is.

Ordered a chest strap for't gopro. Collecting a power tool later - add man points.

Stirfry for tea - deduct man points.

Evening ride if all goes to plan - man points around about equal.

Don't dislike me! I know what insomnia is like too, it's horrible. Hope you get a good nights kip soon.
I hope my eczema clears up, I've had it for years, but I'm really trying to clamp down on it (I have a tub of Astral with me at all times  ) I think it will stop me from ever being able to join the army though, which I don't like, as it feels like a disability. Ah well, I live in hope :D

Good morning. Only just woke up as I'm on a lazy day today. Currently starting round 2 of arguing with the missus. She is close to being shown the door. Going to have a shower and head to the pie shop for two beefsteak pies.

    .

In the woods - doing some recon in redeveloped areas of the site.

The site are tying a new format in a couple of Saturdays time - Formula 5. Taking speedball style play and sticking in a compact woodland field. Could be giggle and I think we're entering a team in that.

Nice one, yeah, some of the guys I know have played a bit of F5.

I used to play 5 man years ago in the UK Masters, but a dodgy knee and a rapidly depleting bank balance saw to that.

    Hello Crud-bums.

Todays is mostly tedious for me as nothing happening at work and have to stay in tonight looking after junior, so a night of TV and internet beckons. Still, got a big nght out tomorrow which may end up in a visit to a dancing establishment with the name 'Spearmint' in the name, so there's something to look forward to :)

Oh and I learnt something last night. If you own a road bike that's worth less than a gazillion pounds don't bother posting a picture of it in the lycra clad section.
Spong - nobodys actually slagged your bike off and you're one of the last people to post, so it ain't that bad is it? We can alsways post a few things on their to make you feel better

No, not that bad, but everybody does tend to respond over here more, even if it is just CC abuse. Feel free to do the same over there

if you have bad insomnia then my advice is, never buy "sleep well with Coby Zvickler" I put it on and after the initial laughter, I was scared by the voice of a man who sounded like Brian off Ideal telling me he was going to "make me relax by cocooning me in a safe place where I couldn't be disturbed or harmed"

My actual good advice, and this is from someone who works shifts and quite often is in bed by 7 in order to fulfill his recommended eu quota of beauty sleep, is as follows. Do you have a tv and DVD/VHS player in your bedroom (I'm pretty sure I saw one through the window, next to those nice lilac pjs I saw hanging up) failing that some kind of audio player? Do you have a DVD or similar of something you've watched over and over again?for me it's Dylan Moran, Monster. Pop it on at a volume that's loud enough to hear comfortably, but no so loud it keeps you awake. Get yourself comfy, close your eyes and listen to it. This will stop you thinking, all those thought and what ifs you have, the my god I'm gonna be tired in the morning thoughts, but because it's something you know well you won't concentrate or feel the need to pay full attention. It gets more effective you more familiar you are with what you are listening to.
