I crashed last week and the little clear plastic bit that shows the gear indicator on the top of the hoods got smashed. Do i need to buy a whole new lever or can you buy the little clear caps?

Faceplates are the word your looking for but they are like rocking horse waste. I've been trying to get ome 4500 faceplates since the end of April with no joy, either from Madison or the rep who knows places that might have them in stock. SJSC was my only hope but their price was higher that everywhere else plus postage and I was p[assing by their place but they are out of stock.
I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.

Cheers, it's the clear faceplates I'm looking for
Looks like it's going to be a mission to find them though

I've got a similar problem. The little black elastic band thing on the small lever on the LHS has snapped. I think its only purpose is to cushion the small lever from the big lever. Can you get those ?

£5 from the LBS but they only have the left side faceplates. That's the one I need anyway.
Let me know if that's cheaper than you've been quoted and maybe I can pick you up one?

Are these for 4500 Tiagra shifters? My LH is the broken one. 4500 faceplates are the only ones with two screws.

Not my favourite Glasgow shop ( a bit expensive normally) but they do have the goods this time.
