well here it is. Cost about £590 to build. Weighs 8.35kg and is xl sized.

Sora 9 speed, model b wheels, a tiny bit of kcnc. Frame colour might change if I can afford the crash replacement, which is the same as the sale price mk2. :(

I love these frames , seriously considering one at the moment given the great price. How do you find it

my experience of road bikes is limited, but I've tried low end trek, specialized and felt but this just 'feels' better.

Not a bad roadie bike for a mountain biker Spong  You really must get some matching bar tape or you'll catch hell for it...

No thanks to the matching tape, I want it to look like a Raleigh I had around the early 80's. All I need to do now is get a decent silver stem and seatpost and I'm done.

Ride is really great. I've just taken mine out of comission after about 3 years and swapped all the components onto a cross bike so there's a frame & carbon forks going cheap if anyone's interested?

Frame has got 3 years wear on it, has a few bits of paint missing and a dent on the top tube (more than happy to post pics), it's a great frame but cosmetically it's showing it's miles and just taking up space that i dont have so would sell with the forks (Dedaccia Black Rain) and Cane Creek headset for £60 + £10 if posted.

yea, sorry Spongtastic, got a bit carried away. I like the look you are going for with the leather tape, it's an awful lot of bike for the money

doesnt seem harsh or chattery, even over really badly cracked roads and picks up speed really well.

    Hey, no probs.

I'll let everybody know what the mk2 frames like and thanks for the comp on the leather tape and yes, I always try and build a bargain
