glasgow cycle clubs

Can anyone recommend a cycling club in Glasgow suitable for a relative new cyclist?

    go along and try a few club runs to see what suits you best.

    VC Glasgow South, Glenmarnock and Couriers are on the South Side. Glasgow Ivy and Glasgow Nightingale are to the North and Lomond Roads out Clydebank way and there are many others but I don't know what like they all are. Glasgow Wheelers and Glasgow United - loads to choose from!

    Nightingale have pretty cool looking kit though if that makes a difference :wink:

    Depends where you are located in Glasgow, most have been mentioned in the above post.
    I'm a member of Lomond Roads, we meet at the Kilbowie Roundabout in Clydebank at 0930 on a Saturday for our club run. We have a good mix of abilities and there are generally 2 groups every Saturday (main & intermediate) and we do an intro run on the first Saturday of every month.
