Rather than add this piece to the very long other Swinley thread I'd thought i give a big thanks on here. [I think they might see it.]
as the title says I went to Swinley for the first time today. I was getting a little bored of my usual haunts.
On a recommendation I drove to Swinley.
Started off getting lost in Swinley forest not knowing where anything was.
I stumbled across a group of lads/gentlemen mt bikers.
I asked directions and suggestions of where to go & what was good in SF
I was offered a better map which was very kind. Better still I asked if I could follow them.
More kind was they allowed this billy no mates a guided tour.
It was much more enjoyable not having to worry about getting lost and finding the routes.
Which I don't think I would have found some of the routes as I think I'd would just cycled past unaware.
So [if my pathetic memory for names is right] Eugene, Dan, Clive & Mark Thanks for allowing me to tag along.
or could have said the names have been changed to protect the innocence
Hopefully I will become a regular and I will return the favour and assist a newbie after a learning the layout.
Peace
CiF

Not one of the above but we ride regularly in Swinley (and Surrey Hills), you are welcome to join in any time.
Sometimes use the Swinley thread, but more often than not arrange things in the even longer London Calling thread.
Just need to sift through all the random gibberish posts.I don't do smileys.
