Hi just like to say thanks to peterborough cc great sportive from ,oundle, fantastic route scenic almost traffic free ,managed to loop back to indoor feed station.well stocked with homemade cakes .also like to thank group of club riders who kindly towed me to second feed station.all for a tenner,proving it can be done :D

    I am glad so many people enjoyed this, which was the first ever Peterborough Cycling Club Sportive. It is looking highly likely that we will be back again for another enjoyable great value for money event. After all £25 is a lot of money to fill up your water bottle!

    I know the commercial ones have got to make money to pay the salaries of their staff but there is no reason why cycling clubs can't put on events that are just as good if not better. After all most cycling clubs promote races anyway and they know the local cycling terrain better than anyone else.
