FORMULA MD-1 brakes

Just checking a bike over for someone and it has some Formula mechanical disc brakes. I think they are the MD-1 version and not the Activa type (don't quite look like the Activa picture on the Formula website).
I know they are crap brakes, but does anyone have a manual for these that they could email to me. Especially interested as to how the pads come out.

Recipe: shave legs sparingly, rub in embrocation and drizzle with freshly squeezed baby oil.
