I need to get better at riding hills
anyone in Kent know of good training slopes round Ashford?
I've been out and about with work around Eastling and Newnham recently and there's some steep old beasts up there - I eventually want to ride round that way but at the moment will be completely unable

Not sure how far into Kent you are, but Wrotham Hill seem to be a popular climbers destination!

Im sure there are better though!0 -
(Try the hill out of Wye - also White Hill (off the A28 when goings towards Canterbury). There are plenty of really steep hills around Stowting as well.0

It can be quite busy, but then, although I shouldn't say it, it's fun when you hear a car stall behind you.
Hollingbourne's quite good, and less busy.0 -
Charing Hill is another not for from you. If you're prepared to travel a bit, then Wrotham Hill and Vigo Hill are near to each other if your feeling sadistic!!!Limited Edition Boardman Team Carbon No. 448
