Group Rides North Bristol

Hi,

Does anyone ride or are there any group rides in this part of town? I'm not training for anything, but always looking to push my fitness, times that bit further. I'd class myself as amateur but fairly fit (well, I think so until the next person blows me away!!) - riding solo is good but it would be good to ride with others.

    Our club Sodbury CycleSport has regular rides during the winter but, as we're a small club, they're a bit sparser in the summer due to racing, etc. (although we're not all racers). Severn Road Club are bigger and have regular rides each weekend, I believe. Otherwise there's a few Bristol clubs, check on BCs web site.

    NBCC do a regular Sunday ride from the Bradley stoke Tesco http://nbcc.forumsmotion.com/

    A few faster guys start at 9am but there's a 10am ride that normally has 6-12 riders usually doing 40-50ish miles around 14mph average, no one gets left behind but pace will be too slow if you're training for racing or something. Used to be a Wednesday evening ride to but only seems to happen rarely these days.
