light scraches

got some light scratches on black car,
was just wondering what people use or is t-cut the best

  • t-cut generally is far from the best to use due to it not breaking down during use, often causes more harm than good!
    a quick good off the shelf fix is meguiars scratchX available from some supermarkets, halfords etc.

    if youve any friends who are into their cleaning cars then one of them will be bound to have a light compound of description to help! ive got loads in the shed form many years in the trade valeting (13 years) but am down the bottom left of this land, so more than likely a bit far!!

    be aware though that if you remove the light scratches and polish up, chances are that panel will shine a Lot more than the rest the car, being black will notce a lot more!! :wink:

    Aye, fading the polished bit back is an artform :lol:

    I like Farecla stuff... but tbh by the time you go and buy the good stuff, even if you do it perfectly first time you'd still probably have been better going to a scratch-n-dent place.
